1. What is a Virtual Assistant
(VA)?
A VA is an
independent consultant who specializes in providing administrative
support services, working with clients in an ongoing, collaborative
professional relationship. Virtual Assistants are business owners
who work from their own offices, using today's technology to deliver their
services and communicate with clients.
2. How does hiring a VA work?
Virtual Service Partners requires a complimentary, no obligation
30-minute consultation before any work begins.
During the consultation, we will ask
questions about you and your business, and this will also give us the
opportunity to explain what we do in greater detail. We'll talk about
your particular challenges as a professional and where our support can be
used to gain immediate strategic results. This consultation also allows
us to have a meaningful conversation to explore whether we'd be a good fit
for each other. When we decide to work together, we will send you a
contract, commencing the agreement. When the right client connects
with the right virtual assistant, great things can happen!
3. Is a VA the right choice for me?
Hiring a Virtual Assistant depends on a number of factors.
Consider the following items...
-
I am ready to
partner with a Virtual Assistant, and understand that a VA is an
independent contractor, not a paid employee.
-
I understand
that my VA will work off-site and most communication will be via e-mail.
-
I am comfortable giving my VA
projects to handle and understand that my VA will remain in contact with
me throughout the project, bringing it to full and thorough completion.
-
I understand that my VA will
manage routine duties for me with little supervision and oversight, and
thus take the administrative burden off my shoulders.
If you identify
with these statements, then you are ready to partner with a Virtual
Assistant!
4. Is it
expensive to hire a VA?
No, it isn't. What's expensive is when you spend time doing projects
yourself, or going to the time and expense of hiring an on-site employee.
Virtual Assistants are independent contractors. As such, you won't
pay taxes on an employee, pay for breaks and down-time, vacation and sick
leave, office space and furniture, or expensive computer equipment and
software. Virtual Service Partners is an independent service
provider, relieving you of employee-related expenses and overhead.
There are no hidden costs, you just pay for the services as you go.
We offer a free consultation and retainer packages individualized to your
business needs.
5. What can Virtual Service
Partners do for me?
By partnering with Virtual Service Partners, you get flexibility and
value-added benefits, including instant access to a variety of specialized
skills and personalized service. We will become an integral part of
your team, establishing a long-term, collaborative relationship with you,
to help you move ahead and find greater success in your business.
